2. Eligibility
Participation is open to natural persons who have reached the age of 18 (or the applicable age of majority in their respective country). Excluded from participation are:
Employees of the Horl Group and their relatives.
Persons residing in countries where shipping is not possible due to trade embargoes or sanctions.
Persons residing in countries where shipping the prize is not possible for legal or logistical reasons.
Worldwide participation (excluding regions where shipping is legally or logistically restricted).
3. Participation
Participation via Instagram is achieved by:
Following our official Instagram channel.
Liking and saving the giveaway post.
Commenting on the post as described in the post.
Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of any goods or services.
4. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on 11.05.2026, 16:29 PM (CEST) and ends on 25.05.2026, 11:59 PM (CEST). Within this period, users have the opportunity to participate in the giveaway.
Prize Draw and Notification
The prize consists of: We’re giving away 10 HORL Boards (5x Oak and 5x Walnut); each winner will receive one HORL Board. The winner will be determined by a random draw after the end of the period. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message (DM). If the winner does not respond within e.g., 48 hours, the claim to the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.
Shipping & Costs
The organizer is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance or local delivery services.
The prize cannot be paid out in cash.
The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred to other persons.
Taxes
Any potential tax obligations arising from the prize (e.g., income or prize tax) are the responsibility of the winner. The organizer does not provide advice, filings, or payments to tax authorities outside of Germany.

a) Purpose of processing:
We process the following data:
Instagram username (for participation and determining the winner).
In the event of winning: Name and address (for shipping the prize). The data is used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the giveaway (determining the winner, notification, and shipping).

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and the fulfillment of the giveaway contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). By participating, you agree to the processing of your data for the stated purposes.

After the giveaway has ended and the prize has been shipped, your data will be deleted unless legal retention requirements (e.g., from tax law) apply.

Data is only shared with third parties if necessary for shipping the prize (e.g., postal or courier services). No further transfer of data takes place. Your data is processed exclusively in Germany. There is no transfer of data to countries outside the EU.

If you reside outside the European Union, please note that your data is processed in Germany in accordance with the GDPR. By participating, you agree to this data processing. Should different data protection laws apply in your country, you agree that your data will nevertheless be processed according to the standards described here.
10. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers residing in other countries, mandatory protective provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. The judges' decision is final, as far as legally permissible. Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
