Our Swiss partner #tide collects plastic along the coasts of Southeast Asia – from the beach to 50 km inland. That way, the plastic does not end up in the sea in the first place.

From its collaboration with Swiss researchers, #tide has developed a scientifically sound recycling process. This turns the collected and carefully sorted plastic into a high-quality raw material: a granulate that possesses ideal properties.

To the manufacture, ...

Together with our regional partners in the Black Forest, we add a small amount of dye to the #tide ocean material. This gives the HORL3 Cruise a light sandy colour that reflects its origins.
